The Tippmann 98 Custom paintball gun is our entry level, fully customizable marker. The main feature is the ease of customizing the marker. The 98 custom combines all the great features of the model 98 with the ability to accept The Flatline Barrel System, The Response Trigger System, the E-Bolt Electric System and the Comp-Air Low Pressure System. All of these Tippmann Systems can be installed with same tools that you use to disassemble the marker. We are sure the Tippmann 98 custom paintball gun is the most customizable marker you can buy.
With its all aluminum die cast receiver and new, extra-sturdy finish, the semi-automatic 98 Custom includes marker and maintenance pack (barrel sleeve, oil, wrenches, cleaning cable, and spare tank O-ring. Other features include a quick-release feeder elbow, removable front grip to accept expansion chamber and vertical kits, and a 200-round hopper. It’s fully compatible for CO2, compressed air, or nitrogen.
The new A.C.T. (Anti-Chop Technology) is a patent pending design to help eliminate ball chopping and ensure consistent performance. Using a new technology that has the front and rear bolt working independently of each other, A.C.T. virtually eliminates ball chopping and improves ball accuracy with less barrel cleaning. And unlike other anti-chop systems, our system maintains ball velocity shot after shot and does not have to be re-cocked if the anti-chop technology had to be engaged.
