The new Squad Blaster Paintball Grenade Launcher Pistol is the second generation of our bestselling Phantom Grenade Launcher. This Grenade Launcher Pistol offers more than just a versatile mount-on system capable of use with many different paintball markers. It can also be used as a stand-alone grenade launcher pistol. This is a heavy duty launcher with a frame made entirely out of aircraft aluminum; it has a nice weight to it, unlike a flimsy plastic.
The Grenade Launcher Pistol can be mounted on all standard railing systems and is compatible with all thunder grenade shells. This means it can use the M68 grenade shell (using .68 caliber paintballs) or the M203 shell (holding .43 caliber balls). The new system has a side ejection mechanism allowing for quick reloads. This is a nice feature to have if you find yourself in an intense battle and under fire, when your ability to stay in the game depends on how fast you can return fire.
Like all paintball grenade launchers, the shell itself is charged by a charger (AG1 charger + regulator) that borrows air from your existing CO2 tank. You can also charge the shells with 12g disposable CO2 cartridges with the help of the Charger w/12g CO2 adaptor (see options below). After the grenade shell is charged, load it into the Squad Blaster Launcher and pull the trigger. The shell does not fire out of the launcher... but about 25 paintballs do to cover your opponents with paint. Paintball grenade launchers are extremely effective!
