Sleeveless and sleek; players love the Proto Defender chest protector because it provides just the right amount of protection and is comfortable to wear in all types of weather. The Proto chest protector's main body is made of a 4-way stretch vented poly-blend material. The padding has small holes in it that helps wick away sweat and allow consistent air flow for constant breathability.

Players love the padding material and the way it sticks to the skin of the shirt; most swear it's rubberized feel helps paintballs bounce right off without breaking them! Paintballs have to break when they hit you to be counted. The Proto Chest Protector also has a raised collar with a 1/4 inch foam insert over the throat area for extra neck protection.

Compressed soft-flex protective panels are attached to the shirt over the chest, shoulders, upper back, lower back and kidneys - these are the areas that take the most punishment from aggressive play.
