The scopes and sights used on paintball guns are the same that are used on real rifles.  When buying a scope for your marker, remember that paintball guns will only shoot a maximum distance of ~300 ft.  While most scopes are fitted for real rifles that shoot much farther than this, the scope has a much longer range than the paintball gun can shoot.

Scopes used for sniper paintball guns have greater magnification, however the lower grades that are still very cost effective and user-friendly still work well for paintball.  Depending on the position you play and the type of marker you use, it’s smart to buy a scope or sight that can be useful for more than one position on the field.
