Spyder Tactical Markers
Spyder has great tactical paintball markers; for 2009 there's been a few changes. There's the MR1, E-MR1 (the electronic version of the MR1) and the new MR2 with Eye. Kingman has stopped producing the popular MR3 but we really don't know why. Usually when they discontinue a successful paintball marker, they generally have a better replacement for it but so far we haven't seen anything since the MR3 was cancelled. Perhaps it was too similar to the MR2. The 'eye' with the new MR2 is Spyder's version of an anti-chop system that's second to none; it's a 'break-beam eye' but also has an on/off switch. The MR1 is semi-automatic of course, but the e-MR1 has the capacity for 15 bps full auto and 3 modes of operation. The MR2 however comes standard with an electronic trigger; 3 modes of operation and 25 bps full auto. There is also an 'assault body kit' upgrade for the MR2 that will actually turn your MR2 into the MR3. You can add rails, scopes, handguards or barrel upgrades to all these markers. Recently, there has been several awesome looking kits for the MR1; you can turn it into a very nice M4 carbine or sniper rifle with very little hassle. The MR2, MR1 and e-MR1 all come standard with an adjustable shoulder stock. All of these also operate with CO2 or high pressure air.
