Playing Paintball in the Wintertime Requires Specific Equipment. Here is a Selection of Cold Weather Paintball Gear & Supplies For Sale At Discount Prices

Don’t let the cold temperatures of winter stop you from playing your favorite sport!  If you’re using the right paintball gear you can continue to play all through the year.  Certain paintball equipment is more suited for playing in colder temperatures however and your snow game will be much more fun if you know what to get.

When playing paintball in cold weather, it’s best to use high pressure air rather than a CO2 tank.  CO2 tanks tend to freeze up in warm weather; temperatures below freezing will cause them to deliver less powerful, sporadic shooting.  Compressed air however has a constant temperature and will deliver consistent performance for your paintball gun.

It’s best to use a very sturdy, hardy paintball gun when playing outside in freezing temperatures.  Expensive high-end competition paintball markers are too sensitive to temperature differences and may break down easily.  Your best bet is to stick with a brand name basic model paintball gun; these are built the sturdiest and can handle the most stress.

Paintball masks are the same for cold or warm weather paintball, but they must be worn.  To modify a paintball mask for the best wintertime play, upgrade to dark, smoke or yellow lenses; this will help cut down the blinding glare from snow.  Make sure to choose a mask that’s not only protective, but will fit over a stocking cap as well.

Winter formula paintballs are a also necessary accessory for playing through the winter months.  These have a different paint and shell formula that keep them from freezing in cold temperatures; paintballs that are frozen solid can cause injury and should not be used!  Fortunately, heavy winter coats and thicker clothing make excellent paintball protective gear.

In the winter, paintball gloves won’t just protect your hands, they will keep them warm too!  Shemaghs are also great for keeping your neck/head warm during cold weather tactical play.  Thick, baggy camouflage clothing (BDUs) is not only great for stealth, but also keep you nice and toasty when worn over a pair of long johns.

Get completely outfitted for your game, no matter what season it is at ChoicePaintballGuns!  We love offering the best brand name paintball gear and following it with fast service.  Our ordering process is easy, fast and secure.  Here is a great selection of wintertime paintball equipment for sale at discount prices….
